Cloudy skies with scattered showers are expected today and Tuesday as two weak upper level low pressure systems move in from off the California coast. A light and moist southerly wind flow ahead of these systems will keep temperatures mild both during the day and overnight with a blanket of clouds.

High temperatures today are expected to reach into the upper 50s and lower 60s around the Basin then cooling into the mid 50s during the day Tuesday. Overnight lows will stay in the 30s mainly due to cloud cover.

There is also a chance of seeing isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and again Tuesday as cooling aloft with the upper low pressure systems brings more instability to an already-moist air mass.
