Sierra-at-Tahoe announces snowsports week

Sierra-at-Tahoe is once again supporting local nonprofit organizations by offering Snowsport Week, formerly known as Merchant’s Day, from Feb. 1 to Feb. 14.

Full-day lift tickets as specially priced as low as $20 and can be purchased through Feb. 10. Four or more tickets may be purchased for $20 each, two or three tickets for $25 each and one ticket for $30. Tickets are available at the Barton Hospital gift shop, Laine Photolabs, Lake Tahoe Community College bookstore, Rainbow Mountain, Shell stations at the Y and in Meyers, Bank of the West and both South Lake Tahoe and Tahoe-Douglas chambers of commerce.

Last years event produced more than $10,000 benefiting local education, healthcare and youth and family programs. Proceeds will be shared among Barton Hospital Foundation, Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation, Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation and Tahoe Youth & Family Services.
