Sierra Club to discuss Earth Day

Tahoe Area Sierra Club will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the fire station on Elks Point Road in Round Hill. Refreshments will be ready by 6:20 p.m., so come early and bring a friend.

Among the agenda items are Earth Day 2006 and how you can be part of the Pathway 2007 process and help shape what your local community will look like.

Take Highway 50 to the stoplight at Roundhill Square shopping center, turn west on Elks Point Road and go a half block, and then turn left into the fire station parking lot. The meeting is in the classroom. Parking at the fire station is limited, so you may need to proceed a few yards past the fire house, turn left and park along Dorla Court.
