Singer set to entertain at senior potluck dinner

Bill Paradise will entertain at the Feb. 7 South Lake Tahoe Senior Citizens, Inc., potluck dinner and meeting. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the senior center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

Paradise will sing romantic ballads as he did at the Ageless Entertainers Variety Show last year. In college, he majored in acting and singing and has played leading roles in “South Pacific,” “Music Man,” “Showboat” and “Fiddler on the Roof.” He even starred as Horace Van Gelder opposite Yvonne De Carlo in “Hello Dolly.”

Everyone attending the potluck is reminded to bring a plate and utensils as well as their favorite food dish for six to eight people. Members of SLT Senior Citizens, Inc., who attend the event can win a $25 door prize. Guests are welcome and everyone can win cash raffle prizes. All are encouraged to come and bring their friends.

For more information call the senior center at (530) 542-6094.
