Singer-songwriter Beth Hart takes the stage in Stateline with her genre-defying sound on Saturday, Feb. 10.

“Beth Hart is on fire. Right now, the Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter is riding a creative tidal wave, firing out acclaimed albums, hooking up with the biggest names in music and rocking the house each night with that celebrated burnt-honey voice,” states the artist’s online biography.

These collaborations include one with guitarist Joe Bonamassa: Together the two musicians released an album of covers, known as “Black Coffee,” at the end of January.

“With producer extraordinaire Kevin ‘The Caveman’ Shirley back at the helm, the result digs deep into the soul catalogue where they honour and re-imagine songs from Edgar Winter, Etta James, Ike & Tina Turner/Steve Marriot, Ella Fitzgerald, Lil’ Green, LaVern Baker, Howlin’ Wolf, Lucinda Williams and Waldeck,” states a press release from Mascot Label Group.

But Hart’s most recent solo project, “Fire on the Floor,” premiered in 2016 — and it’s that which she will promote on her Tahoe tour stop on Saturday.

“These 12 songs run the gamut of genre, reflecting Beth’s eclectic teenage influences, which took in everything from gospel, soul and classical to the seismic rock of Soundgarden,” continues the bio.

There is a little something for everyone in Hart’s music. Tickets for the South Shore show range from $25 to $40 and are available for purchase at http://www.montbleuresort.com or the venue’s box office.

The gig begins at 8 p.m. and doors open one hour prior to show time.
