Sketch released in missing South Lake Tahoe woman case
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Skamania County Sheriff’s detectives have released a sketch of a person of interest in the search for missing South Lake Tahoe woman Marie C. Hanson.
Hanson, 54, was reported missing from the Washington state’s Rainbow Gathering in July. The event was held at Skookum Meadows on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
A witness reported seeing Hanson leave the area of the gathering the evening of July 6 with the man, according to a statement from the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office.
The man is described as a white male in his late 40’s or 50’s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. The man wore many silver necklaces with medallions, carried a cane, had rings on his fingers and wore a dark colored “Duster type” jacket, according to the statement.
The Skamania County Sheriff’s Office has been working with South Lake Tahoe police on the case and is asking anyone with information on the man or Hanson’s whereabouts to contact Detective Tim Garrity at 509-427-9490 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
