Ski club program sign-ups planned

The Zephyr Cove Ski Club, sponsored by the Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department, will conduct registration Dec. 7 for the 2003 winter program. The sign-ups will take place from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Kahle Community Center, 236 Kingsbury Grade.

The club offers a variety of affordable ski and snowboard opportunities for all Douglas County students from kindergarten through high school. All ability levels are welcome to participate.

Skiers and boarders may choose to register for the Heavenly Nevada or Diamond Peak program. Options include lift and lesson lesson only, lift only, or pay as you go packages. The program begins Jan. 4 and runs for six Saturdays, plus on make-up day.
