Ski resorts host annual job fairs

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Looking for a winter job? Now’s the time. All three South Shore ski resorts are gearing up for the winter season.

Heavenly will host its jobs fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the California Lodge. Job openings include ski school instructor, retail store manager, parking attendants and a variety of on- and off-hill positions.The resort will hire hundreds of seasonal employees. Sierra-at-Tahoe will host its job fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the main lodge. Winter positions include lift operator, guest services host, ticket checker, food and beverage, rentals, parking, building services, ski and snowboard school, or security.

Kirkwood will host its job fair in the Red Cliffs Day Lodge from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Openings include ski and snowboard school, accounting, lift operations and a variety of on- and off-hill positions.
