Sleep apnea focus of discussion

People who snore, find it difficult to stay awake during their everyday routine or wake up with headaches may be suffering from sleep apnea.

The Barton Sleep Studies department will sponsor a Group for Apnea Sleeping Programs from 6 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 4 in the Barton Hospital board room.

The G.A.S.P. meeting will give an overview of sleep apnea, explaining what it is, signs and symptoms, treatments and possible complications during surgery for those who have sleep apnea.

For more information, call the Barton Sleep Studies Laboratory at (530) 542-3000, Ext. 3060 or the Barton Health Resource Center at (530) 543-5537.
