Small business workshop at LTCC
Lake Tahoe Community College is hosting a class that blows the theory: Those who teach, teach; and those who do, do.
A Saturday course, “How to Start a Small Business,” provides students with an education from two men who can do both.
Roastmaster Christian Waskiewicz, who runs two Alpen Sierra coffeehouses on the South Shore, will join Morgan Stanley Witter financial advisor Roger Pratt in sharing their knowledge in how to get a startup off the ground.
The class will be held at the Language Learning Center Feb. 10 and 24 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The entrepreneurs will stress marketing and financial management in the half-unit course.
Those who are interested should call the college by 5 p.m. Friday.
