“Lake Tahoe Community College will be closed on Friday March 2 due to a continuing winter storm that is dumping considerable amounts of snow both at the lake level and over mountain passes, making driving to campus potentially treacherous for students and staff,” Diane Lewis, marketing and communications director for LTCC.
Students are instructed to check with their individual instructors to ask about any required work or makeup classes for their courses.
A winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service for the Lake Tahoe region remains in effect until 10 a.m. Saturday.
