Snowmobilers meet at pub

The Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Association’s monthly winter meeting Jan. 9 at Mulligan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, 3600 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Dinner off the menu will begin at 6 p.m. and the meeting will get under way at 7:15 p.m.

Announcements will be made for future activities including a February group trip to Bridgeport, Calif., featuring rides to Bodie, Mammoth and Sonora Pass. Featured speaker for the evening is Tim Edison, mountain manager for Zephyr Cove Snowmobile tours, one of the countries largest operations.

The Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Club meets the second Thursday of each month October through April, with additional summer activities. The club promotes safe riding, group rides and family activities, in addition to environmental and political issues to keep riding areas open to snowmobiling.

All snowmobilers, prospective members and guests are welcome. For more information call Pliny Olivier, club president, at (775) 588-1748 or John Breylinger at (775) 588-0619.
