Snowsports Week to benefit local organizations

Sierra-at-Tahoe is offering discounted lift tickets for $35 (regular rate $64) for Snowsports Week, which is Feb. 11-14.

All proceeds will go to Barton Hospital Foundation, Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation, Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation, Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care and Sierra-at-Tahoe Education Foundation. Tickets are valid any of the four days during Snowsports Week and must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be available at Sierra-at-Tahoe.

Tickets can be purchased at 7-Eleven on Kingsbury, Barton Hospital Foundation (credit-card sales can be made through http://www.bartonhealth.org/events), Coldstone Creamery, House of Ski, Lira’s Market, Longs Drugs at Bijou and the “Y,” Lake Tahoe Community College Bookstore, Meyers Chevron, Rainbow Mountain, Sports LTD at the “Y” and in the Village Center, Sunrise Ski and Snowboard Rental.
