Soroptimist hosts ‘An Evening of Food and Wine Tasting’

Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe will present its 36th annual “An Evening of Food and Wine Tasting” from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe special events center.
This year’s event will feature 27 wineries and 20 local restaurants, live silent auctions with art, jewelry, trips and personal service packages. The $20 Mystery Bags will return. These just flew off the table last year, so get yours early. A 20-bottle wine cellar with 20 premium wines valued at $925 will be raffled off. Raffle tickets are $5 each and $20 for five. Wine tasting tickets are $65 per person (must be 21 years of age to attend).
Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
All donations to this event help the service club support women and children in the So Lake Tahoe community. Purchase your wine tasting tickets from your favorite SISLT Soroptimist member. Wine tasting tickets and raffle tickets will be for sale starting Sept. 13. Check with your favorite Soroptimist member, or you may also go to the Web site at SISLT.org and down load a Fax form to purchase raffle tickets and wine tasting tickets with your credit card. All tickets ordered by credit card now will be billed and mailed out after Sept. 13.
