‘Soulcycler’ to be featured by Tahoe Art League

Former Nevada Appeal and Tahoe Daily Tribune photographer Rick Gunn will share experiences from his three-year bicycle journey around the world at the Tahoe Art League meeting Jan. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Tahoe Blvd.

On July 1, 2005, Gunn started his journey from the Golden Gate Bridge. The journey spanned 33 countries, 25,811 miles and 34 months.

Gunn will share his “Soulcycler” slide show program. He is also working on a book chronicling his adventure.

The event is free.

The Tahoe Art League meets the second Monday of the month at the senior center. Guests are always welcome.
