South Lake Library conducts annual book sale

The South Lake Tahoe Branch Library will conduct its annual summer book sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 5 in the in library conference room, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.

A large number of books (fiction, non-fiction, and children’s) will be available for sale at very low prices. A limited number of VHS, books on Tape/CD and DVDs will be available for purchase at deep discounts. All proceeds will help to cover the growing costs of our free children’s program and Reading Club.

A special preview before the book sale is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 4 in the conference room. All Friends of the Library who have paid their dues will be admitted free at the door. Non-Friends can become Friends at the door ($10 for individuals, $25 for businesses) or pay an $8 entrance fee.

A very limited number of Thomas Kinkade framed prints will be available for $125 apiece. All proceeds from their sale will benefit the South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library.
