South Lake Tahoe Senior Center to host potluck, breakfast and rummage sale

Everyone is invited to a potluck at 5:25 p.m. Friday at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center. Meatloaf will be prepared by Carol Olivas, and South Lake Tahoe Police Officer Kevin Whalen will discuss common fraud and theft schemes that target seniors. The program will be from 6:30-7 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring their own plates, utensils and either a salad, fruit, side dish or dessert for six to eight people.

Call Arline Gordon at 530-545-1277 by Thursday to RSVP.

On Saturday, the senior center will host a pancake breakfast from 8-11 a.m. The cost will be $5 for adults and teens and $3 for children 12 and under. In addition, there will be a rummage sale at the center from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. To rent tables at the sale call the senior center at 530-542-6094 or Gordon at 530-545-1277.

The South Lake Tahoe Senior Center is located at 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd. in South Lake Tahoe.
