South Tahoe City Council to hold strategic planning meeting
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — The South Lake Tahoe City Council is holding their annual Strategic Planning Advance on Tuesday, March 29.
A five-year strategic plan was created in April 2020 for 2021-2026 that laid out priorities for the city. One year into the five-year plan, the council will be reviewing projects in the five areas of priority, Built Environment, Recreation and Equitable Access, Community for All, Economic Development and Continuous Improvement.
During the Strategic Planning Advance the council will address key issues facing the City of South Lake Tahoe regarding economic development and quality of life, and discuss core values to help guide decisions on infrastructure, investment and job retention/recruitment.
The council will also set three goals for the city to focus on during the next twelve months in order to gain traction on maintaining a healthy balance for community growth and redevelopment and benchmarks to determine what progress has been made by the City to address core values.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and can be viewed in person at 1901 Lisa Maloff Way or remotely via Channel 21, http://www.cityofslt.us, http://www.facebook.com/CityofSLT/ and via ZOOM at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85469001891.
