South Tahoe Earth Day festival a great success

The South Lake Tahoe Earth Day Festival on April 16 at the Bijou Community Park was a great success. The sun was shining, music rocking, booths buzzing, delicious food a cookin’ and smiles beaming.

The Willy Woggle Circus was a special hit and thanks to great tunes from Bison, Bandit and Lake Tahoe DJ, there was never a dull moment throughout the day.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, the local businesses that generously donated to our Earth Day Raffle, and to our booth vendors for participating in this incredible event. A special thanks to all our volunteers, including the CCCs and the Boy Scouts. Record attendance at this year’s South Tahoe Earth Day would not have been possible without the wealth of support from our local media.

South Lake Tahoe Earth Day is a great way to come together as a community to learn about ways to preserve and protect the unique beauty of our environment. Thanks to all who made it out.
