We had a nice trip for the South Tahoe golf team last Thursday in Elko. Ruby View Golf and staff were great to us. Due to the spring break, we traveled a day earlier and the course let us get some practice time completed.

Peyton Guttry shot a 79, his low of the season. Max Borek shot an 88 and Kolton Van Pelt shot an 89, both their season lows. Griffin Boles shot a 91. And with a near hole-in-one on the 210-yard 17th, Evan Brown shot a 92. His ball landed within 3 inches of the pin. Kybur Oberhaus played in his first varsity match and did very well with a 106

The team was scheduled to be back in action Tuesday, hosting a 3A league match at Genoa Lakes Resort Course.
