South Tahoe graduate heading to law school

St. Michel

Graham St. Michel, a 2001 graduate of South Tahoe High School, will attend Lewis and Clark’s Northwestern School of Law in Portland, Ore., beginning in August. He will pursue an interest in environmental law.

St. Michel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California in December 2004. He received a bachelor of science degree in public policy, management and planning with an academic minor in environmental social sciences. His undergraduate studies included internships with Barbara Boxer’s office, Southern California Association of Governments, the Environmental Law Institute and the nonprofit organization Heartlands, both in Washington, D.C. He studied one semester at American University in Washington, D.C., and returned to the D.C. area after graduation.

St. Michel is a lifelong resident of South Lake Tahoe and the son of Mike and Lucinda St. Michel.
