South Tahoe High grad announces engagement

Amy E. Olson and Douglas M. Wilson have announced their engagement.

Amy E. Olson and Douglas M. Wilson, both of Manhattan, N.Y., have announced their engagement and plan to wed May 5, 2007, in Chicago.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Don and Connie Olson of Wonder Lake, Ill. She is a 1998 graduate of Woodstock High School.

She earned a degree in general business entrepreneurship in 2002 from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, and is a 2004 graduate of the Cosmetology Spa Institute in Crystal Lake, Ill. She is a business consultant with Bumble and Bumble in Manhattan, N.Y.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Doug and Sharel Wilson of Gardnerville. He is a 1997 graduate of South Tahoe High School.

He earned a bachelor of arts degree in history and government from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. He is a financial analyst with Cohen and Steers in Manhattan, N.Y.
