South Tahoe Refuse to recycle trees

South Tahoe Refuse will pick up Christmas trees after the holiday.

All decorations and nails must be removed from trees in order for them to be recycled. Trees must be cut into 6-foot lengths.

Residential customers can place trees curbside on their regular refuse collection day for pickup. Commercial customers can drop off trees at the Resource Recovery Facility for free during the two weeks after Christmas.
