SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Vikings tennis continued to pull out wins, as the boys’ team defeated Churchill County High School 12-6 on the road, while the lady Vikings won 11-7 at home.

The boys rode behind their doubles teams again, who swept the Greenwave, only allowing 10 points. Kolton Van Pelt and Colton Marchesseault didn’t allow any points, outscoring their opponents 18-0. Coach Justin Clark continued to switch up his singles, starting Chad Kassamanni at the one spot, who got a win and another in the second round. Dustin Good year also had a win for the Vikings.

The girls played very strong against the Fallon team. In the first two rounds, the lady Vikings were up 9-3 and had the match sealed, allowing other players to get some playing time. Maggie Lee and Cassandra Marin led Tahoe with Lee winning all three of her matches and Marin winning both of hers. The doubles team of Rosalie Annand and Kelsey Meteger won both of their matches, along with Emily Rives and Grace Bronken. Casey Villitts and Sara Jobbins also won.

The teams are back in action on Tuesday against Bishop Manogue High School, with the boys playing home and the girls away.
