South Tahoe Vikings boys soccer misses at state semifinals; team ends year with impressive 16-6-4 record

Sophomore Adam Knaff scored in the 74th minute to propel Bishop Gorman to a 1-0 victory against South Tahoe in the 4A State Boys Soccer semifinals Friday in Reno.

The Gaels outshot South Tahoe 23-12 forcing Viking goalkeeper Josh Doherty to make 13 saves.

STHS made the state tournament for the sixth time in seven years and finished with a 16-6-4 record.
