Speed limit should not be raised

In regards to raising the speed limit thru Meyers: I’ve watched the debate on TV and would like to say – after 35 years of professional driving (18-wheeler and sometimes more), accident-free and more than 2 million miles – another traffic study? Come on! Only a government entity could mess this up. I think it should be left alone. All the side streets and businesses thru the area make it extremly dangerous now at the 40 and 50 mph speed limits. Most people are running 45 and 55 mph now. The area is too confined and the visibilty on some road entrances is impaired and dangerous at the current speed limit. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to go faster through there.
