‘Spirit of Spring’ will benefit Boys & Girls

The first-ever “Spirit of Spring” fundraising event for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. May 9 at the Edgewood Golf Course. The event is being co-sponsored by Southern Wine and Sprits and Edgewood Golf Course.

Tickets are $20 per person, and all proceeds will go to support the variety of programs offered by the club including homework assistance, computers, art, performing arts, music, sports and nutrition. The event will feature premium wine, beer and specialty water vendors as well as tasty appetizers. The signature “beach cruiser” bike featured on the label of Fat Tire Beer will be one of the items for the silent auction to be held that night.

Come join in this fun event to help support the 550 youth in our community who participate in the programs and services offered by the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe.

To purchase tickets or for more details, call the club at (530) 542-0838 or stop by the main site at 1100 Lyons Ave. (the former Al Tahoe Elementary School).
