Splash, laugh and work out

Provided to the Tribune

Adult water exercise and running is offered all year at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation and Swim Pool Complex, 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd. You can drop in by the day or get a discounted 10-use card. The classes run from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday.

The water exercise class is for all adults and seniors who want a fun and wet work out that can increase their flexibility, circulation and energy. No swimming ability is necessary. You can jog, do the class workout or your own workout while enjoying some laughs, too. Bring your water toys or use some of ours such as noodles, kickboards, aqua belts and bells.

Drop-in fee is $4.25 general and $3.25 for seniors. Discount passes for 10 visits are $37 for general and $27 for seniors.
