INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Incline’s girls’ soccer team was defeated 4-0 Tuesday afternoon by its North Shore rival North Tahoe.

The Highlanders pressured the Lakers early and had some chances throughout but could never find the net.

The Lakers scored two goals late in the first half and added another in the first minute of the second.

The final tally was an Incline own goal.

The Highlanders (4-3 Northern League) stayed in fourth place in league with the loss, behind three unbeaten teams South Tahoe, Truckee and North Tahoe all at 6-0.

Incline next will host Lowry (2-3 Northern) at 5 p.m. Friday.
