Incline netters cruise to 3 league wins, stay unbeaten

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Incline switched things around on the tennis courts, mixing and matching, while cruising to three victories to remain undefeated.
The Lady Highlanders defeated Sparks, 16-3, on Tuesday, Sept. 11, North Tahoe, 17-1, on Thursday, Sept. 13, and Churchill, 13-5, this past Tuesday for their seventh straight Northern League win.
Head coach Elizabeth Gebhardt has been using her whole bench and even placing two of her top singles players, Kate Tong and Taylor Redfern, together in a doubles match.
Gebhardt was pleased with sophomore Melanie Racich and who won all of her singles matches against Sparks and freshman Jordan Stephens won her last singles match against Sparks' number one singles player in a tie-break.
Incline (7-0 Northern League) next will play at 3 p.m. Tuesday against North Valleys in Reno.
