STMS 8th grade girls b-ball notches first win of season

The South Tahoe Middle School girls basketball eighth grade team notched its first win of the 2014 season on Tuesday, Sept. 23, a 15-13 victory over Eagle Valley Middle School (Carson City, Nev.). The Timberwolves shined in the second half of the victory, holding Eagle Valley to one point.

In the victory, Teagen Williamson led the way for STMS with six points. Asia Smith scored five, Malorie Neiger finished with three and Layne Hembree added one.
