St. Pat’s banquet is a hit

The Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club recently thanked the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts who helped make the St. Patrick’s Day Wine Tasting & Corned Beef Feed such a success. The scouts, who volunteered to sell raffle tickets at the annual fund-raising event, were recognized during a recent luncheon meeting of the service club at Harveys Resort & Casino. Thanks to the hard work of these fine young people, the raffle generated more then $3,000.

Melanie Norman, raffle chairperson, presented a gift certificate to purchase a compact disc to Katherine Grasso, Courtney Fields, Jessica Woods, Kelly Karmann, Marissa McKool, Peter Gulilfoyle, Spencer Thomas, Ryder Sanders, Roger Arnaud, Tyler Kolstad and Derrick Kolstad.
