St. Theresa fair will showcase ministries

Provided to the Tribune

St. Theresa Catholic Church will sponsor a Ministry Fair on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10, following the Masses. This celebration of the work of the church will highlight all the different ministries and activities within the parish.

The goal of the fair is to increase levels of participation, involvement and awareness of ministries with the parish community. The time and talent fair is a celebration of the work of the Church, a thank-you to all those who carry out the parish mission, a time to highlight services available within the parish, and an occasion for those already involved to develop a greater sense of who they are and what their mission is.

This is a ministry extravaganza in which all ministries, programs and services are showcased at one time, each having its own table space.

This is an event in which all parishioners and members of the community are able to meet people and gather information about the various ministries within the parish.

This event allows parishioners to ask questions and raises awareness of all the opportunities the parish has to offer.

All members of the South Lake Tahoe community are invited. Mass schedule is 5:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and at 8 and 10 a.m., noon and 7 p.m. (in Spanish) Sept. 10. Come and find out what we are all about. If you are Catholic but have not been around for while, welcome home.

For more information call the rectory at (530) 544-3533 or the parish center at (530) 544-4788.
