Are you a fan of beer and live music? Look no further than MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa’s 3rd annual Hops in the Yard Beer Fest, held Saturday, Sept. 10, from 1-6 p.m.

The five-hour event features live music from Patrick Walsh and the Mark Mackay Band, along with food trucks and over 45 handles.

Influenced by artists such as Keith Urban, John Mayer and Garth Brooks, Mark Mackay brings his part blues, part country style to the Stateline festival alongside multi-instrumentalist Patrick Walsh.

“Classically trained and first introduced to music through the piano at age 6, he now plays and records with nearly 20 different instruments,” states Walsh’s online biography.

Enjoy the music while eating from food trucks such as The Codfather, which specializes in seafood, Nevada Nosh and a truck featuring wine ice cream and beer floats.

“We’ve assembled some of the best homegrown talent, over 45 handles and some serious food trucks for this special one day event. Receive signature MontBleu tasting glasses for an afternoon of unlimited beer tasting,” according to a MontBleu release.

Noted festival breweries include Firestone Walker, Great Basin Brewing Company, Modern Times Beer, 21st Amendment Brewery, Alpine Beer Company, Coronado Brewing Company, Anchor Brewing Company and Incline Village’s Alibi Ale Works.

Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

Tickets are available at the door for $25.
