Stateline man bound over in Minden vehicle burglary

Tribune News Service

GARDNERVILLE, Nev.- A 39-year-old Stateline man who allegedly broke into a vehicle while his wife was undergoing a procedure at a medical center across the street was bound over to face a charge of attempted burglary on Wednesday.

In exchange for Eric Thompson’s guilty plea, a charge of burglary will be dropped, according to attorney Derrick Lopez.

East Fork Justice Steven McMorris ordered Thompson to appear in Douglas County District Court on Oct. 5.

Thompson, who was wearing a neck brace on Wednesday, has to have surgery on Sept. 23, according to Lopez.
