Stay Local Film Crawl on both shores of Lake Tahoe

The 2019 Stay Local Film Crawl will entail two days of celebrating mountain film sports and culture.

From 5-10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16-17, venues on both shores of Lake Tahoe will participate in the inaugural event.

The film crawl will be a collective of local storytellers, people of the outdoors and adventure seekers.

With a mission to get the local community excited about winter, the crawl will screen new documentaries, short films and episodic content with an emphasis on the environment.

The crawl will also showcase Lake Tahoe local filmmakers.

There will be three different venues on each night ending with a raffle featuring gear from Moment Skis, Flylow Gear and 22 Designs.

The crawl takes place in Truckee and South Lake Tahoe. On Nov. 16 in South Lake Tahoe, the crawl will be at The Hangar, Tahoe Ale Worx and South Lake Brewing Co. On Nov. 17th in Truckee the crawl will encompass Tahoe Sports Hub, Alibi Ale Works and Best Pies.

The event is hosted by Stay Local Tahoe’s Jeff Brissette and also Bevan Waite, who teamed with Brissette to create the film crawl.
