STHS Grad Night gets boost

Paul and Judy Bruso and their staff at Ernie’s Coffee Shop will offer Ernie’s famous hamburgers, French fries and milkshakes to benefit the South Tahoe High School Alcohol-free Grad Night party. The fund-raiser is scheduled from 5 to 7:15 p.m. March 9 at Ernie’s, 1146 Emerald Bay Road.

Ernie’s has been a major sponsor of Grad Night since 1992 and the Brusos will again donate 100 percent of the proceeds in addition to donating food costs and staff. The cost is $6 and tickets are available at Al Tahoe Elementary School, South Tahoe Middle School and South Tahoe High School.

This will be the ninth year that the community and the Grad Night Task Force will provide an all-night event for the South Tahoe High School seniors that includes entertainment and food in a safe and sober environment.

For more information about tickets, to volunteer or to make a donation to Grad Night call Margaret at (530) 541-4567 or Sandy at (530) 542-0226.
