SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Lake Tahoe Branch Library offers entertaining and educational story times at different times each week.

Spanish Story time is at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. This family oriented hour is entirely in Spanish.

Mother Goose on the Loose, a lap sit Story time for children 0-2 years, is at 11 a.m. Thursdays. This Story time is filled with nursery rhymes, fingerplays and more.

Preschool Story time happens at 11 a.m. on Fridays, and includes stories, music, fingerplays, dancing and an educational craft.

Saturdays are chock-full of story times, beginning at 11 a.m. There is bilingual story time for those who want to expand their vocabulary in English or Spanish. Let’s Read Together Story time is a family focused time with literacy tips for parents and caregivers to use at home. The newest edition is musical story time. Musical story time will bring literature to life and help children 3-5 years shimmy their way into literacy.
