Stress workshop to be held this Saturday at Barton University
Learn a technique to deal with stress, fears, phobias and cravings at a community workshop from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Barton University, 1111 Emerald Bay Road, behind Nik-N-Willies.
The workshop, presented by therapist Rosemary B. Manning, M.A., M. H., C.M.T., will teach emotional freedom technique or EFT as it is commonly known. This stress management technique is also called “tapping.” Participants learn how to balance their body’s energy meridians to reduce or completely eliminate unpleasant physical and emotional symptoms.
Cost for the two-hour EFT workshop is free for Barton HealthCare System employees and $20 for the general public. Early registration is recommended, as previous workshops filled quickly. For registration or more information, call the Barton University Resource Center at (530) 543-5537.
