STS9 take the stage at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe for two shows starting Thursday, April 6. The group returns for another set Friday, April 7.

“Instrumental electronic rock band STS9’s meteoric rise to the forefront of the international music scene began nearly 18 years ago in Atlanta, Georgia, and since that time they’ve headlined America’s most classic theaters, arenas, amphitheaters and large music festivals,” states a press release from 1320 Records.

The five-member band formed in 1998 and has released a plethora of albums, the latest of which, “The Universe Inside,” debuted in September 2016.

“STS9 truly does it all: from headlining stages at the countries biggest festivals, to selling out shows around the country as an acoustic set-up in opera houses or as an electronic act in amphitheaters, to even performing with the likes of Jay-Z in arenas, to running their own record label, 1320 Records, to using their voice as a platform for change and raising significant amounts of money towards activism efforts (including $150,000 to The Make it Right Foundation, paving the way to rebuild a house in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans),” continues the release.

STS9 performs at 8 p.m.
