Summer Food Service program to begin

The Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe will provide breakfast and lunch to children starting Friday.

The Summer Food Service program is free and available to children up to age 18 and will be offered at the Boys & Girls Club, 1100 Lyons Ave. in South Lake Tahoe. Breakfast will be provided from 8-9 a.m. and lunch will be provided from noon to 1 p.m. The program will take place until Aug. 24.

Through its sponsorship, the Boys & Girls Club has been able to provide nutritious meals and snacks to thousands of young people in South Lake Tahoe. For more information, contact the Boys & Girls Club at 530-542-0838.
