Heavenly plans plan to operate 21 lifts today with skiing and riding on 43 trails, totaling more than 23 miles of terrain. Groove Park is the pick of the day. Lifts open at 8:30 a.m.

Kirkwood reports more than 60 kilometers of groomed trail for skiing, ski skating and snowshoeing. Upper trail system (Schneider camp) is open.
Early season conditions exist, ski and ride with care, watch for obstacles that may be marked or unmarked. Ice skating rink now open. Upcoming events: Kirkwood Cup today, New Years Eve Torchlight parade and fireworks on Monday.
