Members of Kiwanis Sunrisers and their families lead Christmas carols during a party provided by the service club for residents of Tahoe Manor Guest Home.

Kiwanis Sunrisers recently sponsored a Christmas party to enhance the quality of life for residents of Tahoe Manor Guest Home. Decorations for residents’ room, wreaths and festive silver and gold pinecones added to the holiday spirit and reminded residents of the community support during this season.

Residents and Kiwanis Sunrisers, along with family members, gathered in the dining room for pie and Christmas songs, led by Katarina and Devynn Wulstein and supported by Tyler and Tara Cottrill, along with club members.

Kiwanis Sunrisers is seeking support for its annual crab feed scheduled Jan. 27 that serves local children’s charities. Any local merchants or community groups may help by donating auction prizes, raffle items or purchasing tickets for this fun-filled event with live music. Commitment letters may be sent to Kiwanis Sunrisers, P.O. Box 555, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96151. For more information call (530) 577-7048.

Anyone interested in joining the service club is welcome to attend a meeting. Kiwanis Sunrisers meet at 7:30 a.m. each Tuesday at the Embassy Suites next to Harrah’s. For more information about membership call Steve Reed at (775) 589-6850.
