Supervisor candidate Laine hosts meet and greet

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — El Dorado County District 5 supervisor candidate Brooke Laine will host a meet and greet next month in Meyers.

The “Spring Into Action Meet & Greet” event will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at Getaway Cafe, located at 3140 U.S. Highway 50.

“I decided to run for El Dorado County supervisor to continue my 10 years of public service in our community,” Laine said in a news release. “As a life-long county resident I share your challenges and opportunities.”



The Primary Election date is June 7 and the General Election is Nov. 8. Ballots are expected to be mailed in early May.

There are four candidates from South Lake Tahoe, vying for supervisor including Laine, Tamara Wallace, Kenny Curtzwiler and Jeffrey Spencer.
