Suspects sought in ATM robbery
South Lake Tahoe police continued Thursday to seek suspects in an armed robbery that took place early Monday at Area Transit Management, 1679 Shop St.
Police received the call at 3:13 a.m. Monday morning that three men had escaped on foot after robbing the office at gunpoint, authorities said.
An undetermined amount of money was taken, and no descriptions of the robbers were available. Police are working on several leads, authorities said.

A man declined to press charges against his girlfriend after she brandished a knife and threatened to cut his head off, South Lake Tahoe police said.
The alleged brandishing occurred Sunday just before 7 p.m. at a Third Street address while the couple was arguing about money, police said. Police referred the case to the district attorney’s office, and the woman still might face charges, possibly including assault with a deadly weapon, brandishing a deadly weapon and threatening crime with intent to terrorize, police said.
