SUV flips, no major injuries at Highway 50 near Twin Bridges

Ambulance crews are on the scene of a single-sports utility vehicle accident in which the truck with four passengers flipped. The accident is four miles west of Twin Bridges on Highway 50 and was reported at about 12:25 this afternoon.

Reports are that all four passengers were out of the vehicle and none of them suffered serious injuries. Roads are reportedly slick along Highway 50 over Echo Summit and chains and or snow tires are required.

California HIghway Patrol Spokesman Jeff Gardner said there has been two other accidents along Highway 50 since this morning, however, none resulted in serious injuries.
