Swimming lessons for children offered over winter

Signups will begin in January for winter swim lessons at the South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation Swim Pool Complex. There are a variety of classes, times and dates available.

The next session of small group swim lessons for children 3 to 13 years of age will begin Jan. 14 for afternoon and evening lessons and Jan. 18 for Saturday lessons. The cost is $35 for any of these six 40-minute sessions.

Private swim lessons are ongoing and for all ages and abilities. The cost is $20 per half-hour. Stop by the Recreation Complex, 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd., and check out times and instructor’s availability.
