T-shirt proceeds to benefit fire victims

Provided to the Tribune. Bonnie MacRae is joined by her canine companion, Bubba, as she models the T-shirt she is selling to benefit people affected by the Angora fire.

When longtime South Lake Tahoe resident Bonnie MacRae heard about the Angora fire, she wanted to do something to help the people who were affected.

She came up with the idea of a T-shirt thanking the agencies that helped and selling the shirts to raise money for the fire victims.

The T-shirts are white cotton with brightly colored lettering and graphics. They are $18 each and all proceeds will go to the Locals for Locals fund that has been established by the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce at US Bank.

MacRae is selling the shirts at various fundraisers around town. They are also available for purchase at Meyers Downtown Cafe, 3200 Highway 50, and by calling MacRae at (530) 577-1601. Order forms may be picked up at Alpina Coffee Cafe, 822 Emerald Bay Road.
