Tahoe Arts Project to host annual Oscar party for arts in schools

The Tahoe Arts Project is hosting an Oscars at Opal event at 4:30 p.m. March 7 in the Opal Ultra Lounge at MontBleu Resort. The event will benefit the nonprofit’s mission to bring professional performing arts into the schools and community of South Lake Tahoe.

The event will include an Oscars telecast, appetizers, desserts, betting, a silent auction and a no-host bar.

Tickets are $50 in advance, $55 at the door, and are available at the California and Nevada visitors centers and at the MontBleu box office. Call the Tahoe Arts Project at (530) 542-3632.
