Tahoe Beach Club unites for breast cancer awareness and community health
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Throughout October, Tahoe Beach Club demonstrated its commitment to community health and breast cancer awareness by supporting the Barton Health Foundation, which aids those affected by breast cancer. This initiative underscored the Club’s dedication to health and wellness within the Lake Tahoe community, as members of all ages came together to make a difference.
Throughout the month, Tahoe Beach Club members showed their support by donating to the Barton Health Foundation directly through a QR code conveniently located at the clubhouse entry. In a touching display of solidarity, each member who contributed placed a pink ribbon at the entrance, dedicating their support to loved ones and those impacted by breast cancer.
To further raise awareness and build community spirit, Tahoe Beach Club organized a breast cancer awareness walk, bringing together friends of all ages. After the walk, participants gathered for a special presentation from Dr. Amanda Weavil, who highlighted recent advances in medicine aimed at minimizing the impact of breast cancer. Dr. Weavil’s insights offered hope and underscored the progress made in combating the disease, inspiring attendees with the strides in research and treatment.
Tahoe Beach Club’s month-long initiative reflects its commitment to more than just recreational and leisure activities—it is a community partner invested in the health and well-being of its members and neighbors. Through these efforts, the Club not only raised awareness but reinforced the importance of a compassionate, proactive approach to community health.
